Our work in Asia
Across Asia, we are committed to long-term partnerships which foster immediate emergency response as well as long-term development.
In Bangladesh, which houses over one million Rohingya refugees, your contribution enables local partners such as Caritas Bangladesh to support community infrastructure projects, disaster risk reduction and response, women's education and empowerment programs, as well as support during COVID-19.
Finally, agriculture programs are critical across Cambodia, Philippines, Vietnam and Timor-Leste, where climate change and prolonged drought cause widespread food shortages.
Partnership
We have worked in Asia since 1964, currently partnering with 45 in-country organisations.
Programs
Your support enables 23 programs across Myanmar, Indonesia, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Timor-Leste.
Priorities
Sustainable livelihoods, Protection, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Agriculture and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
You can help
With your generous support, we work alongside our partners on the ground to improve food security, help communities to develop sustainable livelihoods and support people living with disabilities in Asia.
You can provide critical lifesaving aid and assistance to the communities in Asia devastated by earthquakes, cyclones, flooding or conflicts. Your donation means that our partners on the ground can respond quickly and efficiently when disasters strike.
